Employees at the Haggen Food &Pharmacy stores in Arlington and Marysville recently were honored as the best in 2009 among 15 Haggen stores in the company. Jennifer Pillow of the Arlington Haggen was named wine specialist of the year. Malika Rhodes of the Marysville Haggen was honored as bulk foods co-manager of the year.
Dr. Cheryl Beighle is moving to the Everett Clinic’s Silver Lake location starting Oct. 28. She will be providing general pediatric care as well as integrative medicine for children and referred adults. Integrative medicine balances traditional medicine and complementary therapies such as meditation, hypnotherapy, nutrition counseling, and herbs and other supplements.
Clinical practice manager Christine Malone of the Everett Clinic has earned the professional designation of certified medical practice executive from the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Malone joined The Everett Clinic in 2008 and recently published her first book, “Administrative Medical Assisting.”

Good deeds
Providence General Foundation recently presented a $12,000 check to The Salvation Army of Everett and Snohomish County to be used to help low-income people with medical prescriptions.
