That’s what an Airbus source told a Polish publication, and British financial news service AFX picked up on the news. State-owned LOT has been weighing bids for A350s and 787s and now it looks even more likely that Boeing will get the order.
Key Quote, from Airbus deputy CEO Edouard Ullmo: “LOT management … told us it would not take into consideration Airbus’ offer any longer and (would) recommend the supervisory board choose the Boeing 787.”
