EVERETT — Commercial real estate investment company Smartcap purchased an Everett office building for $14.4 million in a deal announced Monday.
The company added Quadrant I-5 Corporate Park, Building A, the two-story, 74,974 square foot on 134th Street in south Everett. The same firm purchased Building B at the corporate park in September for $12.5 million.
That is a 68,575-square-foot building.
“We are thrilled to have acquired nearly 145,000 square feet of office space in this area for an excellent price. With the increased traffic out of Paine Field and the general growth in the area, we believe the long-term viability for these properties will continue to increase,” said Tim Shoultz, president and co-founder of Smartcap, in a statement.
Commercial real estate firm Kidder Mathews’ agents represented the seller Shelby Company and Smartcap.
