A weak peanut crop this year has sent the cost of peanut butter up, up, up.

But you wouldn’t see the full brunt of the increase in most Snohomish County grocery stores this week.

Most grocers put peanut butter on sale to ease the pain.

WinCo, with stores in Marysville and Silver

Lake, had the lowest prices again for our basket of seven basic food items.
