Callie is a fun Shepherd mix looking for an adult only home! She is a quick learner and really aims to please people. Callie is a bit overweight, and will need plenty of daily exercise and secure fenced yard. Callie will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and a feline free home. Callie is looking for a home that is familiar with reactive dogs. In a home, she becomes protective of her people and quickly becomes attached to her owners. She will need to start a behavior modification program right away. She cannot be around new people or have visitors over to her home until the protective behavior has been corrected. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.
All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now.
If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.

Hello, I’m Holly! I was named for the famous singer, Buddy Holly. Here’s a little about me: I can be afraid of strangers until I get to know them. I like it when people sit quietly; I will come over and sit in your lap or next to you. I have not lived with kids as my former family were an older couple. When it is warm out I enjoy sitting in the window. I like to act like a kitten when it comes to playing with yarn. (But I do need to be watched closely so I do not eat it).
