Kids’ free gift session

Stadium Flowers is hoping to fight the recession one flower pot at a time.

Saturday, Stadium Flowers is offering a free gift-making session for kids — and their parents — who may not have a lot of money to buy a present for families or friends.

During the session, each child will be given a flowering plant along with materials to create a holiday basket. The project will take about 20 minutes.

The sessions run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stadium Flowers in Everett at 3632 Broadway, and in Lynnwood at 20728 Highway 99.
