The Northwest Flower &Garden Show is coming up Feb. 8, and once again the Washington Park Arboretum Foundation is holding the preview party from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Washington State Convention Center the night before the show begins.

The Feb. 7 event includes food and wine, live music, silent auctions and a sneak peek at the display gardens.

This year the Arboretum Foundation teamed up with the Seattle Audubon Society for its theme of “Birdsong,” highlighting the bird habitats and the many species that call the arboretum home.

Tickets, which benefit the Washington Park Arboretum, are $65 for foundation members and Audubon Society members if purchased before Jan. 20. The cost for members goes up to $75 after that date.

General admission for the preview party is $100.

Patron and benefactor tickets, which include a full buffet dinner and a special program before the party beginning at 5 p.m., are $200 and $500 respectively.

For reservations to the preview party, call 206-325-4510 or go to www.arboretumfoundation.org.
