What: Rosa korfullwind, commonly called “Baby Blanket” rose, was introduced in 1993 by the Kordes Co. It’s a striking semi-double light pink rose that blooms continuously from May until frost. The deciduous shrub has a cascading or spreading habit that makes it a fine selection for a raised garden or rock wall. This rose is disease resistant, has a slight fragrance and makes a spectacular display in the garden.
Size: Baby Blanket matures at 3 feet high with a 5-foot spread, which creates a cascading effect.
Sun or shade: Like most roses, it performs best in full sun. Water it deeply and regularly. Remove spent flowers to encourage rebloom. Prune as needed in late winter to early spring.
