EVERETT — One person died in a fire early Monday at a motorhome in north Everett.
Around 1 a.m. Monday, witnesses reported a fire at the motorhome in the 3500 block of Rockefeller Avenue. Dispatchers were told someone might be trapped inside, according to the Everett Fire Department.
When fire crews arrived, the motorhome was fully engulfed. Flames spread to trees and a utility pole. Firefighters stopped it from spreading to neighboring homes.
Responders found one person dead in the home. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased and determine the cause and manner of death.
The Everett Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the fire’s cause Monday. Everett police were handling the investigation into the death.
