MONROE — A man and a woman were injured Wednesday after a three-car collision on a highway south of Monroe.
A 43-year-old Everett woman was in the left turn lane on Highway 203. She was waiting to turn onto 203rd Street SE, according to a Washington State Patrol memo. It was around 4:20 p.m.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old Sultan man was driving north on the highway. His Chrysler Voyager struck the Everett woman’s Hyundai Elantra. The collision pushed her vehicle into the southbound lane. A 64-year-old Duvall man was driving south at the time and his vehicle collided with the Hyundai.
The Everett woman and Duvall man were taken to local hospitals, according to the State Patrol.
Detectives are investigating the cause of the collisions.
