EDMONDS — Police tracked down two men Thursday who reportedly kidnapped a woman and robbed her boyfriend at gunpoint in Edmonds.

The couple is safe.

Police received a call from a 31-year-old Everett man around 1:45 a.m, Edmonds police Sgt. Josh McClure said. The man allegedly had been attacked at a hotel in the 22100 block of Highway 99. The suspects reportedly had taken his 26-year-old girlfriend with them.

Police found one of the suspects’ vehicles outside a house in Everett. A SWAT team arrested a 43-year-old man around 10:45 a.m., McClure said. He was the only person inside the home.

Officers found the woman and a 46-year-old man inside an apartment south of Everett a few hours later.

She was not injured. Her boyfriend was treated for a broken finger and facial injuries, McClure said.

Both suspects were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of robbery, assault and kidnapping.
