MARYSVILLE — A 20-year-old Granite Falls man was shot multiple times in Marysville early Friday.
It happened just after 4 a.m. in the parking lot of the Albertsons at Marysville Town Center Mall.
The man reportedly was standing outside and talking to people who were in a car when one of them opened fire. The car sped away.
The man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. He was described as uncooperative. His injuries are life-threatening.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses, Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.
“We feel confident this was not a random shooting,” he said.
