Air Force Airman Jaron A. Greene has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Jeff and Michelle Greene Langley. Greene is a 2005 graduate of South Whidbey High School.
Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Gerald E. Mason Jr. has received the Welcome Home Warrior Citizen Award after completing a deployment at an overseas forward-operating location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The reservist is a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 6th Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment based in Los Alamitos, Calif. Mason is a light-wheel vehicle mechanic with 12 years of military service. His wife, Marimi, is the daughter of Valerio Canda of Mountlake Terrace.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Evan J. Hatfield has arrived for duty at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. Hatfield, an airborne communications systems apprentice, is assigned to the 338th Combat Training Squadron. His parents are Jim and Pat Hatfield of Mill Creek. He is a 2004 graduate of Meadowdale High School.
