Dan and Linda O’Brien of Marysville will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

The couple were married June 21, 1969, in Fresno, Calif.

Dan and Linda’s first date was their senior prom in Chowchilla, Calif. They have one daughter.

They will celebrate their anniversary by taking a trip to Fresno and Santa Cruz, Calif., in July. Their two grandchildren will accompany them on the trip as they celebrate the birthdays of Linda’s parents, Syble and Gene Seibert. Gene will be 80 on Aug. 8.
