Baby sitter gets 25 years for raping 6-year-old

PENDLETON, Ore.— A 28-year-old Washington state man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for raping a 6-year-old Pendleton girl.

Prosecutors said Jason Dean Green of Walla Walla was a friend of the victim’s family and baby sitter for the girl.

The East Oregonian reports he pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges that included rape and sodomy.

The sentence does not include the possibility of early release.
