A crew from the Spike reality TV show “Bar Rescue” is in town this week at Ynot Sports Pub and Grub on Hewitt Avenue in Everett. There are blue tents in the back, men in black guarding the front and cool cats with film gear moseying about. The show’s host is Jon Taffer. He’s like the Gordon Ramsay of the bar and nightclub biz. In each episode, Taffer helps turn around a struggling bar using “Kitchen Nightmares” tactics. The Ynot is expected to reopen at 10:30 p.m. Thursday to show off the big reveal and return to normal business Friday.

The Ynot, which has been open about three years, has a sports theme with big TVs and pub grub. It also has goldfish racing. No word yet on whether the goldfish racing will survive the remodel.
