Man dies: A Mukilteo man injured in a motorcycle crash died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Carl N. Jacobsen, 59, died Tuesday, hospital officials said. He suffered head and abdominal injuries and a broken leg in a crash Sunday on the southbound I-5 offramp to westbound Highway 526.

His wife, Linda J. Jacobsen, 50, a passenger on the motorcycle, suffered a broken wrist, broken knee and abrasions. She remains in satisfactory condition at Harborview.

The couple’s motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve on the offramp and struck a concrete wall, ejecting both of them, the State Patrol said.
