BREMERTON — A senior project for a Bremerton High School student has given the city a public art installation.

A mural with six panels was installed Monday near the Manette Bridge.

The Kitsap Sun reported that Jan Jimenez created pieces in the style of the Depression-era Works Progress Administration to reflect the city’s character. They include greenery and military images. The project was mostly funded by donations.

Jimenez, 19, is a University of Washington student planning for an art degree. He already has his first public art installation.
