STANWOOD — After another day of negotiations, classes are canceled again Thursday in the Stanwood-Camano School District.
Families received a message around 7 p.m. Wednesday that said the bargaining teams planned to work into the night to find a resolution. The administration and the teachers union have not been able to agree on a new contract.
“We recognize the frustration of our families and are disappointed to have to ask you for another day of patience,” it read.
The school year was set to begin Tuesday. All other Snohomish County districts have resolved new contracts or have them pending.
