EVERETT — The Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue Board of Commissioners appointed Davin Alsin to fill a vacant seat on March 13.
Alsin, a former Redmond police officer and current deputy fire marshal with Redmond Fire, will serve the remainder of the term left vacant by Asst. Chief Paul Gagnon of the Everett Fire Department, who stepped down in December. The term runs through the end of 2025.
The board had been searching for a replacement since January, conducting an extensive interview process before selecting Alsin, according to a press release.
The seat will be up for election in November.
