EVERETT — A Denny’s employee was taken to a hospital after someone shot him in the legs Saturday morning, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
A group of people at the restaurant south of Everett was being asked to leave around 5:30 a.m. when some kind of altercation broke out, said sheriff’s Lt. Todd Swenson. Someone fired a gun, hitting the employee, Swenson said.
The injuries did not appear life threatening, Swenson said. Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect and booked him into the Snohomish County Jail for first-degree assault.
The 24-hour diner is located on 128th Street Southwest, just off I-5.
