MONROE — Police on Wednesday busted the second marijuana grow operation this week.
An anonymous tip led officers to a home in the 18100 block of 154th Street SE, Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said. Officers seized about 30 marijuana plants along with equipment used in grow operations.
Two local men, 24 and 26 years old, were arrested and released, she said. The case was forwarded to the Snohomish County prosecutor’s office for review.
On Sunday, officers seized an estimated $1 million marijuana crop based on another anonymous tip.
Willis urged people to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhood by calling the police department at 360-794-6300 or leaving an anonymous tip at 360-863-4600.
