SPOKANE — Police say DNA technology has identified a suspect in the 1990 shooting deaths of three prostitutes in Spokane.
Cold case detectives are recommending that prosecutors fire murder charges against Donna Perry, 61, who is in a federal prison in Texas in a firearms case.
The Spokesman-Review reports Perry previously was known as Douglas Perry and underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2000.
