EVERETT — A man who police say left the scene of a serious injury accident in Everett last week turned himself in Monday.

The Edmonds man, 42, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of injury hit-and-run.

The accident occurred about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near O’Finnigans Pub &Grill in the 13600 block of Highway 99, Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said.

The man reportedly pulled out of a parking lot in front of a southbound Acura Legend, officials said.

The driver of the Acura was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with what appeared to be a broken leg, Leary said. A 16-year-old passenger in the car wasn’t seriously hurt.

Detectives believe the driver who caused the accident ran off, leaving his vehicle behind. He surrendered without incident to police Monday.
