The Everett Garden Club awarded horticulture grants to Hawthorne Elementary, Lowell Elementary, North Middle, Olivia Park Elementary and Whittier Elementary schools for the 2016-17 school year. Grants ranged from $250 to $500.

Applications are now being accepted for this year’s grant program. The deadline to apply is Nov. 20. Winners will have money in hand for their spring plantings. For an application or more information, email everettgardenclub@hotmail.com.
