Join a rain garden work party

The Snohomish Conservation District hosts a volunteer work party at 4 p.m. Oct. 11 to plant and tour new rain gardens in Bothell. No experience necessary. Gloves and refreshments provided. Meet at 89th Avenue NE and NE 187th Street in Bothell. Participants will be entered to win a rain barrel. Registration is requested. The Snohomish Conservation District has been partnering with King County and the city of Bothell on related projects.

The American Association of University Women Stanwood-Camano branch hosts a nonpartisan, all-candidate forum for Camano Island, Stanwood and north Snohomish County.
