HALLOWEEN

Whether you trick-or-treat or trunk-or-treat, there are plenty of events coming up to celebrate the candy-filled holiday.

FRIDAY

Haunted STEM Lab, noon-6 p.m., Edmonds Community College’s Monroe Hall, 6606 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. STEM-focused demonstrations and activities.

Trunk or Treat and Chili Cook-Off, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Edmonds Lutheran Church, 23525 84th Ave. W. Pumpkin carving, games and more.

SATURDAY

Hometown Halloween, all day in Arlington. Pumpkin roll is 11 a.m. down Third Street hill. Trick-or-treat 12-1 p.m. at participating Olympic Avenue businesses. Dance performance at 12:45 p.m. at Legion Park, followed by costume contest.

Trick or Treat at CASA, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Camano Animal Shelter, 198 Can Ku Road, Camano Island. No-scare event. Pet adoptable animals.

Dog-O-Ween, 2-4 p.m., Bobcat Park, 3140 236th St. SW, Brier. Dress up your dog and yourself and come to “Bobdog Bark” for an off-leash event. Bring people and pet food donations for Concern for Neighbors Food Bank.

Treat with a Horse, 4-8 p.m., Eagle Ridge Equestrian Center, 24717 43rd Ave. NE, Arlington. Cost is $5 per child or by donation for a family and benefits the Royal Rider 4-H Horse Club.

SUNDAY

Boo Bash, 1-5 p.m., Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave. Games, activities, trick-or-treating.

Fright Night, 5-11 p.m. daily through Oct. 31, Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. Family-friendly haunted theater tours 5-6:30 p.m. (ages 12 and younger). Full frights for teens and adults 6:30-11 p.m., with optional “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Tickets are $10 to $20 and benefit local Boys & Girls Clubs. Pre-purchase at www.historiceveretttheatre.org.

WEDNESDAY

Downtown Trick or Treat, 3-5 p.m., downtown Snohomish at participating businesses.

Treats on Main Street, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Mill Creek Town Center. Trick-or-treat at local businesses.

Trick or Treat, 5-7 p.m., downtown Edmonds around the fountain. Streets will be closed for easy trick-or-treating at businesses. Costume contest, too.

Safe Halloween, 5-7 p.m., along Main Street in downtown Bothell. Trick-or-treat at local businesses.

Mariner Harvest Fest, 5-8 p.m., Mariner High School, 200 120th St. SW, Everett. For elementary students. Haunted houses, carnival games, a trick-or-treat hallway, and fashion show. Admission is a canned food and other nonperishable food for the local food bank.

Halloween Festival, 5-8 p.m., Main Street in downtown Lake Stevens. Trick or treat at local businesses, enjoy an indoor carnival, haunted house, truck-or-treat area, and more.

Fall Festival, 6-8 p.m., Zion Lutheran Parish Hall, 330 Union Ave., Snohomish. Snacks and kids carnival games.

Trunk or Treat, 6:30 to 8 p.m., City Hall, 15720 Main St. Ages 12 and under. Bring donations for the food bank.
