PAWS Wildlife Center in Lynnwood seeks volunteers for a variety of roles. Help with wildlife care, keep the nature trail maintained or hand-feed baby songbirds next spring, among many other tasks. Arlington Valley Road ribbon-cutting delayed
The ribbon cutting for Arlington Valley Road, a new route linking 74th Avenue NE to 191st Place NE west of Highway 9, has been rescheduled from Feb. 22 to March 15 at 2 p.m.

NAMI helps those affected by mental illness
The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Snohomish County offers local support groups, including for family and friends of those living with mental illness.

Lost a loved one to suicide?
A Survivors of Suicide Loss support group meets 6-8 p.m. fourth Thursdays at the Stanwood Library, 9701 271st St. NW. The group is hosted by the SC Community Action for those who have lost someone from suicide.
