Bazaar benefits horses
Northwest Equine Stewardship Center north of Monroe, Save a Forgotten Horse and Equine Aid offer a bazaar to benefit rescued horses.
It’s planned for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at 9812 215th Ave. SE in Snohomish.
They plan to offer refreshments, shopping, raffles and photos with Santa (the horse).
For more information, email Jennifer@nwesc.org.
“Once a horse is rehabilitated, the work begins with local rescue organizations to continue the care and training of the horse while providing it a safe haven until it can find a forever home,” said Hannah Evergreen, a board director for NWESC. “It can take several months to years to find the appropriate home for some of these horses, and that monetary cost adds up.”
