Help for ballet school
Fitz, from “Fitz in the Morning” on KKWF “The Wolf” (100.7 FM), talked to ballet school owner Judith Ross Wednesday morning. He promised to visit her studio, wear a tutu and take a ballet lesson.
The Herald wrote Monday that after 27 years, the Lynnwood Pacific Chamber Ballet, a nonprofit dance school, was closing. Enrollment is down because of the poor economy, Ross said.
Fitz spoke to her on air Wednesday morning and asked listeners to get their kids into the school. Ross said ballet is the basis for all types of dance.
No date was set for the tutu class.
Pacific Chamber Ballet began in 1983. It is located at 6925 216th St., Suite F, Lynnwood. For more information, call Ross at 425-778-1600.
