Leak forces evacuation of Tukwila pet store

TUKWILA — A water leak overnight forced the evacuation of animals from the PetSmart store at Southcenter mall in Tukwila.

KIRO reports animals were moved late Monday night to a safe location and the store is closed Tuesday for a cleanup.

Another water leak occurred early Tuesday about a quarter-mile away in the parking lot and firefighters who responded say the leaks may be related.
