LYNNWOOD — Detectives believe a shooting that left one man injured Friday night was not a random act.
Deputies received a report of a man down on the ground in the 4100 block of 156th Street SW about 8 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Brand said.
They discovered that a 20-year-old man had been shot, Brand said. The number of times the victim had been shot was not known.
Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He was expected to be in serious condition following surgery.
Detectives believe the shooting was connected with a robbery, Brand said. It appears that the man knew the shooter.
