EVERETT — A 24-year-old Everett man was killed Monday night when he was thrown from a pickup truck when it crashed.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
A second man, 34, suffered minor injuries. The crash happened about 10 p.m. in the 11400 block of 35th Avenue SE, south of Everett. Investigators believe the men were headed north when the pickup left the road and rolled, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The younger man, the driver, was ejected and died at the scene of the crash. The older man was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Police are investigating alcohol as a contributing factor in the crash, Hover said. The collision remains under investigation.
