SNOHOMISH — Police found a man dead on a road south of Snohomish early Saturday in what detectives deemed a homicide.
At about 1:45 a.m., Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a man, 29, injured in the road in the 18800 block of Yew Way. When they arrived, they found the man was dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
Major Crimes Unit detectives were investigating the man’s death as a homicide. It was unclear how they made that determination or how exactly the man died. Investigators released no further information about the investigation.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man, as well as determine the cause and manner of his death.
