LAKE STEVENS — The man killed in a car crash in Lake Stevens on Thanksgiving has been identified.
Just before 1:20 p.m., a man was driving a black Chevy Silverado east on State Route 92, according to Lake Stevens police. He crossed the center lane at a high rate of speed near Lake Drive, crashing into a Lexus occupied by two men going west.
Bradley Gilbert, of Lake Stevens, was pronounced dead at the scene. He died of blunt-force injuries, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office determined. Gilbert was 52.
The two other men were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
Detectives believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
Lake Stevens police asked anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the tip line at 425-622-9369.
