Man shot in leg near Everett; victim uncooperative

EVERETT — A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday night in unincorporated south Everett.

No suspects have been identified.

The sound of gunshots was reported around 10:30 p.m., according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies found the injured man in the 12100 block of Meridian Avenue S.

The man would not tell deputies what happened, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Ireton said.
