EVERETT — A man was shot Saturday afternoon at Everett Memorial Stadium during a youth football game.

Around 4:00 p.m., police responded to reports of a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the stadium, Everett police spokesperson Ora Hamel said.

The man, in his 30s, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with non-life threatening injuries, Hamel said.

Police said the man was shot by someone he knew and the suspect fled the scene in a car. The wounded man was not cooperative with police.

No arrests had been made Sunday, but police believed there was no threat to the community.
