Marysville police investigate shooting at apartment complex

MARYSVILLE — Police were looking for clues Thursday to explain the early morning shooting of a man.

The victim, 39, was shot about 3 a.m. in the parking lot outside an apartment complex in the 4300 block of 88th Street, Marysville police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.

Officers went to the location after receiving reports about the gunfire. They found the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were believed to be life-threatening.

No suspects were immediately identified.

“It is very early in the investigation, and we have a lot of questions we need to find answers to,” Lamoureux said in a press release.
