No foul play in Mukilteo drowning death of Edmonds woman, 88

MUKILTEO — A woman found dead near Mukilteo took her own life, officials said Wednesday.
People fishing in a boat found the woman, 88, floating west of Lighthouse Park on Aug. 29.
The Snohomish County woman had been reported missing a few hours earlier. She had been living with dementia.
An autopsy confirmed she drowned, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. The death was ruled a suicide.
