SEATTLE — More than two dozen people have been sickened by what health officials say is likely Norovirus at a senior living facility in Seattle.

KOMO-TV reported that residents at Mirabella Seattle, a Continue Care Retirement Community, began to get sick Saturday. The illness has since spread.

Seattle King County Public Health says the sickness is most likely a norovirus outbreak, which officials say is common this time of year.

Mirabella Executive Director Steve Brudnick says employees are cleaning the facility with bleach and keeping residents out of common areas.

Public Health’s Hillary Karasz says the department expects to see more cases of norovirus at the facility for several days.
