CLEARVIEW — A death investigation continued Wednesday after a man’s body was found following a house fire Tuesday night in unincorporated Snohomish County.
Firefighters with Snohomish County Fire District 7 were extinguishing a fire in a garage when they found a body on the second story of the house, said Autumn Waite, district spokeswoman. The house is in the 18600 block of 87th Avenue SE, east of Clearview.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the death investigation, spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said Wednesday. There are no obvious signs of foul play.
The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Waite said. It caused about $325,000 in damage. The cause of the fire remained under investigation Wednesday.
