Arlington: Help firefighters restock food bank’s shelves
Arlington Firefighters have been escorting Santa through town as part of a food drive for the Arlington Community Food Bank. The event is scheduled to continue through Monday.
As they have for years, firefighters drive fire trucks through town, stopping on many streets to collect food.
Weekday runs begin around 6 p.m., with weekend runs beginning about 5 p.m.
Because of the city’s population increase, the firefighters aren’t stopping on every street this year.
To view nightly route maps, go to www.ci.arlington.wa.us or drop by Fire Station 46, 137 N. MacLeod Ave.
