MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Late-night and early morning drivers on 236th Street SW near I-5 will need another route for over two weeks starting Monday.
The contractor building the Sound Transit Link light rail trackway as part of the Lynnwood extension will need to close the stretch east of I-5. The closures are scheduled between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday until Oct. 14.
Drivers can reach I-5 via a detour on 56th Avenue W and 244th Street W.
Emergency vehicles and buses will have access through the closure.
Drivers should expect delays in that area and are encouraged to leave early and allow extra time for their travels.
