The Everett Police Officers Association hosted its seventh annual “Shop with a Cop” in a new way this year to keep people safe during the pandemic. The kids did not go shopping in stores with police officers. Instead, they made Christmas wish lists, then met up with officers who handed out gifts at Forest Park in Everett on Wednesday.
Over 150 Snohomish County children participated, ranging in age from one month to 17 years. Gift donations came from officers, families, friends and local businesses. All the children were referred by local social service providers. Santa was on hand for photos.
