EVERETT — A pedestrian hit and killed Monday night by a car on Evergreen Way has been identified as Donald Bergevin, 65, of Lake Stevens.
Bergevin was walking just past the Pecks Drive intersection around 10:30 p.m., according to police, when he was struck by a southbound Dodge Durango SUV.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, reportedly in his late teens, stayed and cooperated with police after the crash.
The cause of death was blunt force injuries, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Thursday.
