SEATTLE — Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a series of fires set in West Seattle.
Seattle Police said Friday they arrested the man Thursday night at a bar in West Seattle after searching his home and finding evidence linking him to four fires.
The fires were set in October within a mile of each other in the early morning hours. One was started in a garbage can, others burned cars and a fourth was set at a Seattle Housing Authority building. No one was injured.
Detectives have linked the man to incidents captured on surveillance video on Oct. 12 and Halloween and believe he might be linked to other fires in the area.
The man has been booked into King County Jail for investigation of arson.
