MARYSVILLE — Detectives arrested a Marysville couple Sunday morning for allegedly abusing their infant to death.
Around 11:10 p.m. Saturday, police and firefighters responded to reports of a 4-month-old girl not breathing in the 900 block of Columbia Avenue, police said.
Marysville police arrested the child’s 26-year-old father and 25-year-old mother for investigation of second-degree murder and homicide by abuse. The couple was booked into jail.
Two other children at the home were transferred to the Department of Children, Youth and Families.
