Police seek man who allegedly groped girl on Snohomish trail

SNOHOMISH — Detectives on Tuesday released a sketch of a man who is suspected of groping a girl on a trail in Snohomish earlier this month.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call 360-568-0888. The girl was walking with friends in the area of Avenue A about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21. The man allegedly touched the girl and ran away, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The girls were between the ages of 8 and 12.
The man was described as white, 6 feet tall and about 170 pounds. He had short, dark-brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark red T-shirt, black basketball shorts, dark sneakers and a black backpack.
