Road reopened near Lakewood High School after suspicious package investigation

EVERETT — Marysville police reopened the road Wednesday near the 1300 block of 172nd Street Northeast in Arlington after an investigation of a suspicious package.

Around 1 p.m. Wednesday, officers closed road to investigate a report of a suspicious package across from Lakewood High School, a Marysville Police Department social media post said. School is not in session.

The Washington State Patrol Bomb Squad was called to assist.

Officers continue to investigate this incident, the post said.
