Sex offender prompts sheriff’s meeting in Arlington

ARLINGTON — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office will hold a meeting tonight to discuss a sex offender scheduled to move to the 18800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Arlington High School commons at 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The man, Andrew Mathison, served a sentence for child molestation. He is considered at high risk to re-offend.
